Is it possible to make appear the individual switch layers' names on the timeline?

Unfortunately not.

But you could give the switchlayers color labels, and the keys will automatically be labeled with those colors.

Edit: Hmmm, it could probably be scripted with markers though... I'll look into it, because I could use it myself too.

If you mean showing the switched to 'switch layers' names on the switch timeline, then they are hiding there as a tool-tip when you hover over the start of the switch keyframe.



I was also going to suggest it could be added via layer markers in a script.
