Hi guys,
I'm new here and I haven't found a post to this specific problem I have, so I thought I post it here:
Yesterday, I created a new vector layer and a shape within this layer. For some strange reasons I got green and brown shadows for this shape. They don't appear when I quick render this shape. I definitely didn't activate any shadows in the layer settings.
It's bothering me because those shadows slow my processor down and handling the program becomes really sluggish.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I changed my graphic card driver from game modus to studio modus. But since the studio modus is specifically designed for 'creator apps', one would think it has the opposite effect (solving problems instead of creating new ones).
I'm also puzzled by the fact that is effects only this new layer and not the older ones.
I have a NVIDIA Geforde GTX 1060 6GB.

PS: I clicked on the 'insert image' button but it does nothing to me but insert an [ img ][ /img ]. So, can anyone explain to me how this works?

OK, this is a guess:
Open the preferences panel, see if you've activated "Stereo rendering: red/blue anaglyph". Uncheck this.

This forum doesn't host image files, so you'll need to upload it to an image hosting site and then link to it from here using the Image button. If you hover over the button, you'll see a tooltip explaining the proper format. (The link goes in between the two image tags.)

If you want to host the image yourself, you need personal cloud storage. You can use services like Google Drive or Dropbox for this. If you use Dropbox, you need to change the dl=0 part at the end of the link to raw=1 to make it display in a post.

Sounds a bit complicated. But I guess, when in Rome do as the Romans do.
BTW - my guess was right. It was the change of the graphic card drivers that caused my problem. I reinstalled the game driver and now I can work smoothly with Moho again. With the studio driver, it was like walking in molasses! No fun at all! Kind of a misnomer the 'studio' driver! Kills all the performance!

For image uploading, it's pretty easy with Dropbox.

1. I just copy the image to a DropBox location on my desktop.
2. r-click on the file and select Copy Dropbox Link.
3. In the LM forums, paste the link into my post
4. Select it and click the Image button. With other image services, that's probably all you need to do.
5. To display the image with Dropbox, change the dl=0 to raw=1. I think otherwise the file will download.

The neat thing with Dropbox is that you can move the file to another location in your account and the link will remain valid. It's also easy to replace the image without breaking the link. I think you can still get a limited free account, which should be fine for image hosting.

If you decide to go with an online image hosting service instead, just upload and copy the link from their website, and follow steps 3 & 4 above. Some of these services are free. The downside to using any of these services is that there's not guarantee your images will always be available.

The Lost Marble forum used to use one of these online image hosting sites but that service is no longer available as a free service, which is why there are broken image links in some really old posts. Sorry, I don't have any current recommendations for an image hosting service but maybe other users here can post their favorites.
