Alpha not working on Mac?

MOV files exported with Alpha (wther prores or png), don't have their alpha recognized by FCP or Motion5.
Have no choice but to export PNG sequence, which adds an extra time consuming step.
What am I missing?
Thanks

You need to choose the right codec: ProRes 4444, the 4 digits indicating it's 4 channels, rgb + alpha.
On older Macs it's the PNG codec, you need to check "millions+ colours" tehre.

Did you try those ProRes alpha settings in the 2nd group? You seem to run a different OSX version than I do.
Oh, and check there's not a layer covering the full frame at the bottom of all.

I tried both yes.
It exports fine as PNG so there is nothing in the project itself.
I'm on Big Sur on those new M1 macs.
I remember 4444 being available on previous versions indeed.

I don't normally render movie files out of Moho but I have seen this behavior with ProRes files rendered from the Windows version of Moho. The alpha channel is apparently there but for some reason it's not being read properly by some programs.
Other Windows users confirmed this issue and it seemed like this was a Windows specific problem because Mac users reported not seeing it. I think you're the first Mac user I've see to report it. I'll let the devs know this issue may be broader than previously thought.
In the meantime, I would render an image sequence from Moho (which is a recommended workflow for any animation program anyway,) and compile the frames to a movie file using another program.

BTW, which release of Moho are you using? The comments I made above refer to recent versions of 13.5.x, not earlier versions.

Thanks!
Indeed I read about that Windows issue as well.
I'm on 13.5.4
And what of my export settings that are different than normal?

I should have many more choices right? (listed in the manual). Or am I looking at the wrong place?

Which page in the manual are you referring too? (It will be easier for me if you post this info.)

The output Format and Presets section on page 411.
It looks nothing like what I have:

OK, this looks like the devs should look into it.
