How to deal with data loss when updating version 13.5.2?

I'm using 13.5.1, it's a pretty perfect version and meets my current needs. However I don't understand why my computer automatically updated to version 13.5.2, so some of my incomplete and unsaved files are lost. I'm really annoyed. How can this situation be remedied? please help me

I suggest updating to 13.5.5. There have been many bug fixes since 13.5.1, especially when it comes to stability. Plus, there are many new and improved features introduced since 13.5.0. Besides, it's a free update.
If you insist on staying with 13.5.1, go into Preferences and disable Automatically Check For Updates. If you're losing data because of a random crash in 13.5.1 & 13.5.2, try undocking your Styles windows. Also consider disabling Auto Save in that version. (These workarounds are unnecessary in 13.5.5, another reason to keep up to date.)

How can you have unsaved files? The moment you quit any program it asks you to save?
