Effectively clip a gradient inside a shape with inner strokes?

Hey everyone,
I have a hair shape separated into multiple parts. Here it is:

And the hair color should be a gradient, so I tried to clip a simple square with a gradient color on it onto the hair. And it preview it gives me the desired result:

But when I render, it gives me this horrible result:

It seems like it's not ignoring the inner strokes. How would I go about fixing this? :|

Looks like a combination of not using exclude strokes on the mask and having multiple layers not masked correctly.
Probably need to see a file to give you any more detailed advice.

For so many layers, you'd need to use "clear the mask and add", with a gradient for each, like so: https://www.mediafire.com/file/6k1rulyn ... .moho/file

Or you could do it all on one layer.
