How do I make a Masking layer?

Okay, maybe I'm blind and/or stupid, but I don't see how to make a vector layer a masking layer. The version of Moho Pro I'm using is 13.5.5. The help document says that there should be a Masking tab in the Layer settings window. However, I don't see it. These are the only tabs available to me:
General
Shadows
Motion Blur
Vectors
3D Options
Could someone please help me out?

You enable masking in a group or bone layer that contains the vector layer. Once you do that, you'll see the masking tab in the vector layer.
Masking only works within a group.

Two additional tips:
1. Moho 13.5.5 has a new way to create masks: Right-click on the group layer containing the layer you wish to use as a mask and then choose Mask - Inside Bottom Layer or Mask - Outside Bottom Layer. This does the same thing you can do from the Layers Settings but for the most common type of masking, this method is quicker and easier. For more advanced masking situations, you'll still want to use the Layer Settings.
2. The mask doesn't have to be a vector layer, a bitmap layer will work too.
