Switch layer crash

I have been having an issue when I try to convert a sequence to a switch layer. "Convert to switch" crashes Moho 13.5. Is this a known issue? Is there a work around?
Thanks much!

The workaround is a little complicated but it works...

1. Import the image sequence as single images rather than an image sequence. There are two ways to do this:
1a. Select all the image files in the folder and drag them into the Workspace. The images will appear in the Layers windows stacked in reverse order. Or...
1b. Select the 'Import Image...' command and then select the entire image sequence. The images will appear in the Layers windows stacked in reverse order.
2. Select all the images in the Layers window, right-click over the selection and choose Group With Selection.
3. Right-click over the group and choose Convert To Switch.

As mentioned above, the layers will be in reverse order (counting up from bottom to top) but this is what you want because when you add a new layer to the stack, you want to add it at the top. (Trust me, it's just easier this way.)

Hope this helps.

Another, simpler way is to create your Switch layer first, select it, and then use 'Import Image…' and select all the images at once. This will import the sequence as individual images directly into your Switch layer.

Long ago, as well. I reported this years ago because if you convert a group to a switch layer you get the same. So far as I could tell, it caused a null to be inserted into the scripting and BOOOOMMM! So, let’s hope it gets fixed at some point. The answer is indeed to create the Switch layer and then move everything in. Still, a bug that has hit me several times.
