Can't animate Frame 1

I'm sure I clicked something to cause this, but I can't figure out what.

I opened an existing file, saved it under a new name, and selected Clear Animation from Document. But there are still a bunch of keyframes at Frame 1 (Bones, wind turbulence (??)) and I can't delete them. Nor can I edit those keyframes at all. Moving bones while on frame 1 just translates the bone itself. Move to frame 2 and all is fine.

What did I do? I was messing around with Auto-Freeze Keyframes at one point, but I'm not using it that I know of. Is that related?

sounds as though there are reference layers in there and they've become out of sync with their original??

That was a good thought, because the main character in the file is a reference. But the arrows are green, and no change after Updating Layer Reference. Plus, the course layer does not have these keyframes at Frame 1

I wonder if you had Auto-freeze Key enabled while working inside a Smart Bone Action. If you're not careful with Auto-freeze Key or you use Freeze Pose carelessly, it's possible to lock up a rig because all of the bones/controls can be unintentionally keyframed. If this is the case, it should be easy to find the bad keys in the Action and correct it.

As a general rule, I keep Auto-freeze Key disabled until I specifically need it for something and then I turn it off again. Also, I take care to use Freeze Pose only when I really mean to.

Sounds like the old problem of orphaned keyframes. This happens when Moho no longer registers frame zero keyframes. Then the next available keyframe become the default and cannot be deleted normally.

If so, you just need to copy those keyframes to frame zero, and then you should be able to delete/alter them.
