After a long break, I want to switch to macbook pro as moho 13.0 and 13.5 user. Is there anyone out there using the M2 pro? Do you think I will have a problem?

Features of the macbook pro I want to buy:

Apple M2 Pro with 12‑core CPU, 19‑core GPU and 16‑core Neural Engine 32 GB


Also, I don't feel the need to buy M2 max because it uses moho cpu. Because as far as I know, M2 max has more gpu.

I watched many videos on Youtube, but unfortunately I couldn't see the new macbook pro review in terms of 2d animation performance.

How does this compare with your current setup?

I have a company issued M1 Pro Macbook and Moho works like a charm. No worries, you should be fine.

My setup i7 i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz 32gb and RTX 2070.

This setup is fluid even in difficult scenes. But in difficult scene rendering, the workspace can slow down a bit.

Good to hear that . It should be 16inch, but according to my research, M1 max seems to work better than M2 pro for cpu.

I wouldn't overthink it too much. All these benchmarks and tests online rarely translate to real world application. Just get whatever you can afford and start animating, it all works well and the Apple Silicon stuff is really solid.

I bought a macbook pro 16'2 M1 max 32gb 1tb ssd on Monday and have had the opportunity to try it so far. I can say that compared to my previous laptop. ( Win10 Rtx 2070 32gb 1tb ssd ) It renders 10 times faster in Moho. I would definitely recommend it to those who want to buy it as a joke .
