Patch Layer preview does not seem to work in 14.1

Yup, this has been reported, so it will hopefully be...uh...patched for the next release.

For anyone wondering, it only affects the display preview, not rendering. Since Moho 14 got a new display engine, there's gonna be some growing pains. Keep the reports coming though.
