Problem with inserting images in forum posts

Excuse me, how can I insert images or gif animations when posting on this forum? Can someone teach me

first find yourself an image hosting service. I'm currently using imgbb.com but there are loads of other free ones.
then upload your image there and put the url you get in between the [ img ][ /img ] (minus the spaces) tags you get when you press the "image" icon in the "create post" header

Much as stated already, you can also paste your image URL into your text - as below:
https://i.ibb.co/wgh9xw1/acton-ez.gif
then select/highlight that URL text and click the image icon
- which will surround the image url with the [ img ] tags - like below:

BUT that's a HUGE image -- loads of white space that you could trim and/or use their "BBCode embed" for a thumbnail or smaller version e.g.

Congrats. You can also use the [Preview] to see what you post will look like before you [Submit] it.
