Right, I’ve just bought Moho 14 and have just started following the Moho tutorials to familiarise myself with the software on my old MacBook (new MacBook on order).

My initial thoughts tell me that the inbuilt touch pad won’t make for the fastest method of using the software so I wanted to ask what the experienced Moho & MacBook combo people are using to navigate the software?

Many of us use a tablet and a pen, especially when creating their assets directly in Moho. A mouse is good for the delicate work of selecting single points and stuff. It al depends oon your personal preferences. Use what you feel comfortable with.

Ok thanks. I was looking at how I could use my iPad and pencil as a tablet as I recently found out I can repurpose the iPad in this way. If I were to look in to tablets can you recommend any good brands / products that work well?

I only know Wacom from experience and highly recommend them.

Ok thanks, I’ll take a look. One final question: I appreciate it’s likely a preference, but what size tablets do most people tend to use with Moho / animation software. I wouldn’t want to buy one and find it’s too small for purpose.

I managed to connect the iPad to the MacBook and I don’t think that will be a viable solution.

I found that I need a large size so I bought a cintiq.
