Ever since Bone Dynamics was introduced to Moho I had to fiddle around with settings when I wished to apply this effect. As a visual type, I always try to imagine what I'm aiming for so guessing and tryouts were really time consuming and were not exactly the most productive part of the process. It seems that I finally have a better understanding since I've managed to depict the differences and specificums regarding each setting.
All of these have the same rig - 3 bones + 1 for the ball at the top. The wind is the same just as the weight for wire/s and the ball/s. I've picked 5 as a "round" number but mostly to depict what happens when the value is increased. The main idea was to depict the differences through the behavior of some sort of real object. Metal wire, in this case.
Torque - these 2 are of different lengths but only to emphasize how does the higher value affects the rig. As if increasing the value extends or thins the wire.
Spring - the same wire but with more coils
Dumping = the same coil/spring but made of thinner and thicker wire. Rather similar to a car suspension/shock absorber.
Hope it could help someone else as well.
