I was checking on the forums before I made my purchase because a software's community is just as important to me as the software itself. I tried using Toon Boom Harmony a while back, but there were aspects of it I didn't like. I started my early film career doing claymated shorts with stop-motion animation. Checking out Moho and how it works, the character rigging system appealed to me and reminded me of my early days of doing stop-motion. I've also made my own muppets for indie film projects and puppeteered them, so again Moho appeals to me. I don't really have any animations to show yet, but I have always loved cartoons since I was a kid and never stopped loving them into adulthood.
With that being said, I'm finally at a point where I want to start creating my own cartoons and animation is a way for me to get back into filmmaking with a much lower budget. I've got my first animated short script written for a series and going through the lessons and tutorials to build up my KB and excited to get started on this new venture into animation.
