Why... Wind?

Hello,
I've just installed version 14.3. It seems weird that in this version as soon as you created a bone layer, it creates a wind channel with a keyframe on frame 0 on the timeline and you cannot delete it. Is this a bug or something? It didn't happen on version 14.2.

When new timeline channels get added, with new features, this can sometimes effect your settings for how channels display in the timeline... especially if you customized these in a prior version.
You can fix this in View>Timeline Channels.

That's why I always back up my settings, so I can restore them whenever I upgrade or do a fresh install, you can easily automate that process with a batch file, the settings can be found in that folder...
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Lost Marble\Moho Pro\14 (you may need to show hidden files to see the content of that folder)
Hope this helps.

Hi BrianLucas,
The 'quick fix' is to select a bone layer, then open the Timeline Channels window, and click the All Auto button at the top.
This sets the bone channels to the default settings. You can cusotmize the settings from there, if desired.
Next, select a Vector layer and repeat. Then, quit Moho and relaunch it. This will ensure the settings change sticks.
Note that these 'phantom' channels appear only if you updated a previous installation of Moho 14, and had made changes to the Timeline Channels window in the older version. This shouldn't happen again unless Lost Marble adds more new channels to Moho 14 in a future update.
It's an annoyance but luckily the fix is easy.
