What's the difference between its Auto Close and Auto Weld options?

Auto close means that when you start drawing and when you stop... a closed shape is "automatically" created. A connection is made from the start point to the end point. So if those points are "far apart" a single line is created connecting them... even though you didn't really draw that line.
Auto Weld is when you start or stop drawing on an existing line or points... those points will automatically weld... or attach to points or lines that exist.
Auto weld doesn't work if auto close is checked at the same time... I am pretty sure of this...
They are kind of... sort of... similar... but different... based on "when" or how they are used.
