textures disappearing in viewport

i have a scene with a lot of shapes and 10 of them are colored with construction paper like textures. some textures disappear from time to time while i am working
When GPU mode is turned on, some of the textures are back, but not all.
Rendering is fine, the problem is only in the viewport.
Is my Computer not well enough equipped? Its a GTX 1070 8 gb/ Ryzen 3700x on a 4k Wacom Cintiq 32
The texture sizes are 2048 x 2048
Thank you!

Nah, the graphics engine in Moho 14 is brand new, so the devs probably need to tweak a few things. For the most part, everything looks and performs better than it did in past versions, but I too, have noticed textures occasionally dropping out and coming back in Moho 14's display preview.
IMO, if the image looks good in a preview render (Ctrl+R), don't worry about it. The final output is what matters.

Tip: when a texture or artwork layer drops out in the display preview, I can get it back by adjusting the zoom level.
So, when this happens, hold Shift and RMB-drag to zoom in or out slightly. This should 'fix' the issue, at least until next time.

Thanks Greenlaw!
I found it! Activating the "shape effects" button did it for me
All textures are crisp now. The graphics engine in 14 is insane:)
many animated textured shapes with shadows (south park style) running in realtime, wow!
I tried this some weeks ago in harmony 24: much slower performance and shadows are not displayed in the viewport

Awesome! I'm glad you got it working!
And thanks for letting me know what fixed it for you.
