Smooth Join should be used more than two bone
I use smooth join binding all the time for my PSD characters. Specifically with arms and leg. The problem is that this binding method only works with two bones. I think if it work with more than two bones, it should be much useful since there are at least 3 places of of join that can be used with smooth join binding method on arms and leg such as shoulders and hips. I know that in Moho, we have curver layer. That's good, but to my testing it does not work well for the purpose unlike smooth join binding. Furthermore, it require extra layers and more steps to do. Another thing is that, we can't copy the bone to other characters that have the same model PSD.

Yes, that old workaround still works
If you are using Moho 14, Curvers can work in a similar way to the Smooth Joint feature, but allowing you to add as many joints as you want:

Thank you, Vector, for that information. I've been using Curve Layers since I got Moho 14 and find them to be a fantastic feature. However, most of my character creation relies on character templates (models) stored as PSD files. I have numerous PSD files that can be customized with different clothing colors and heads.Víctor Paredes wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 10:26 am Yes, that old workaround still works![]()

For each character model, I maintain a corresponding Moho file with a fully rigged structure and pre-made actions. When I need to use a character model, I customize the PSD files and then copy the bone structure from the relevant Moho file (the character model with bones) into a newly created character file.
In this workflow, Smooth Joint binding for connections involving more than two bones has proven to be the most effective option if Moho has that smooth join for more than 2 bones. While I've experimented with Curve Layers to replace Smooth Joint in some of my characters, I've encountered some undesirable behaviors. Specifically, the arms and legs can appear to blend together in a way that resembles paper, which is not the case with Smooth Joint binding. Thank you.
