We're seeking Moho riggers to collaborate on an exciting experiential project celebrating the design and construction of an iconic historical landmark in Sydney, Australia. The project runs from now through Q1 2026, with immediate opportunities to get involved - this is a PAID role, and we're looking for professionals who can collaborate closely with our animation team.

We’ve developed a series of stylised characters that require special attention across several areas:
  • Clean, animator-friendly structures suited to performance-driven animation
  • The ability to work from base character sheet illustrations and interpolate poses and orientations as needed
  • An eye for maintaining consistency of form and style across the full range of character motion and expression
  • Expressive, versatile facial performance
  • Detailed hand and finger articulation
The visual approach draws inspiration from the early days of animation—paying homage to the charm and rhythm of 1930s and '40s classics like Steamboat Willie. We’re aiming to incorporate some of the snappy timing, character exaggeration, and stylised motion that defined the era.

This is a remote/flexible role, and for the right candidate, there’s potential to stay on as an additional animator as the project progresses.

If you’re a Moho rigger who appreciates expressive character work and has a soft spot for vintage animation techniques, we’d love to hear from you.

Please reach out with a short overview of your experience and some examples of your rigging work to info@eye-candy.au - you can check out some of our past projects at http://eye-candy.au

Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
