Blender Grease Pencil - what are the pros or cons vs Moho

Anyone have experience with grease pencil in the new versions of Blender? I'm curious what the pros / cons are focusing on character animation with Blender vs Moho. It's been awhile since I did any animating and want to do another project. These are just personal projects. I have Moho 12 and did some things with it before and also have used grease pencil before but it's been a few years since then and am trying to compare the current versions of Moho / Blender. I was originally looking to get Moho 14 but since I would be bringing the Moho animations into Blender and using Blender for the environments, backgrounds, and comping I was also thinking maybe grease pencil would make sense. I'm not interested in the 3D aspect of grease pencil or in doing cutout style characters such as Reallusion's Cartoon Animator. I'm looking more for mimicking a 2D drawn look and wondering which would be better for versatility in character creation, ease of use and efficiency in animating, lip syncing, etc.

Haven't used it myself, but basically Grease Pencil is for frame-by-frame, with the option to use Blender's other features, whereas Moho is bones and vector, with the option to do some occasional frame-by-frame. I wouldn't fret over this, just use whatever works on a scene-by-scene basis.

Thanks. I'll take a closer look at both and see what makes more sense.
