I found a tool script called Mynd Tools and it has a Select Shape button but is there a way to give it a keyboard shortcut?

Ok I solved it. We can give shortcut to scripts from Edit/ Edit Keyboard Shortcuts

Not sure if this is what you want, but when you choose the Select Shape tool, a Select All button in the options bar. This selects all the shapes in the current layer. AFAIK, there's no shortcut for this, but it's not a big deal to click the button, and it's easier/quicker than the old 'Shift-Wipe' method.

To anyone else reading this topic: I just checked Select All because it's been a while since I last used it. To make it work, I had to first select one shape and then click the button. I didn't remember having to choose one shape first.

Has it always worked like this? I would have sworn I could use Select All without directly selecting a shape first, but this seems to be the case in both 13.5 and 14.3 here. (I guess I always had at least one shape selected and never noticed.)

Anyway, thought I should share this extra info in case anyone has trouble using Select All.
