Graphics card question

I have been away from Moho for several years and plan to get back into it. I need to buy a new laptop because my current one cannot be upgraded to Windows 11 (and Microsoft is ending support in about a week). I know I should get one with a dedicated graphics card instead of an integrated one, and have been looking at a number of options. I found several that have an NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4050 graphics cards (with 6GB of dedicated video RAM) in my price range, but I cannot tell if they will be compatible with Moho. I saw under system requirements that I need a graphics card that has OpenGL 4.1 (whatever that is), and I found something that says this graphics card has OpenGL 4.6 - so I'm assuming that the higher number is OK (i.e. the lower version is the minimum it must have)? Can anyone confirm for me that this GPU will work? Thanks!

Yes, that exceeds the recommended requirements for Moho 14.
I always suggest that people at least buy the best graphics card they can afford, so their computer will be likely to handle new software for its lifetime.
I currently have an NVIDIA RTX 4080 in a machine I bought in 2023, because I usually have the same computer for many years.

I have an RTX 4070 TI Super 16GB VRAM here, and Moho runs very smoothly, I would say that any Nvidia 2000 or higher or any AMD equivalent will do with Moho, and an RTX 4050 certainly fits within the Moho requirements, if you don't plan on running any other demanding graphics app it seems to be a decent choice!

Go for the best card you can get.
Moho 14 can use a decent GPU, but it's not too demanding. However, if you intend to use other programs for animation production, like a video editor, paint program, compositing program, and even a 3D animation program, you'll be glad to have the extra horsepower.
Even if you don't plan to use other programs right now, you'll want to keep your options open for later.
