Moho announced a free SIDE QUEST update in September, but there hasn't been any news since. Is there any information about the release date, or has the update been postponed?

The more i use Moho, because it is fast and has great potential, the more i am worried about Lost Marbles slow pace maintenance. This is a bad sign, folks. Nearly a year now with absolutely no updates or bug fixes or service packs what so ever! No new webinar, only one single blog statement "we dont use AI"! (why not, use it for faster coding!)
To top it all, they are now advancing to SPINEs territory, entering the gaming hell. SPINE has multiple updates weekly(!) to satisfy stressed game developers.
Anyway, from the bottom of my heart, good luck with conquering the animation and gaming industry!

Pray tell me, which project-breaking bug bothers you?
Moho is one of the stablest softwares I use regularly. Even ancient version 5, way back in the dinosaur age, enabled me to produce films to my client's satisfaction. All the new features over the years added value, but none of them was something I couldn't have lived without. I'm quite happy this team spends so much time to fine-tune and thoroughly test their product.
A software which needs weekly updates is not fit for release, in my book.

I can understand the need for weekly updates in some animation software, as they often rely on external APIs from game engines, network services, and similar factors. Thankfully, Moho doesn’t require such updates. When it comes to extending Moho’s functionality for using its animations in game engines, I can’t praise this feature enough. I just hope that integration doesn’t rely on runtimes for connection with engines and Blender, but instead uses the .gltf/.glb file format.

I would love a Linux and QT port, but I am realistic, the Lost Marble team is small, We need to support them by showing some patience, Moho is pretty solid as it is IMHO, as for game and Blender export, it is not something that I need, but 2D in games is huge, if this comes to be, I have no doubt that it will help Moho get some recognition, I just hope that if these new tools are implemented in Moho that it won't clutter the interface too much!

This update method is strange, why isn't it available from the application as before?

I watched the video and wow, it looks really cool. I don’t want to interfere with product management, but if LostMarble released a Game Edition of Moho (stripping out features irrelevant to GLB files) and priced it similarly to the DEBUT edition, I think it could take off in the market as a strong competitor to Esoteric Spine and Brashmonkey’s Spriter.

It should be available via the application soon... They always do this to allow early adopters to effectively test & validate the new version before releasing it, via the application, to the masses.
