Hello community! 👋

I wanted to share my first Moho creation. I purchased the Moho license few months back but then struggled to learn it, and did not do a lot with it. But since I still want to learn making simple animations and I can see people are doing some pretty amazing stuff with the Moho, I wanted to take the bull by horns learn by doing 💪 You can see the outcome in the YouTube video.

Hope you like it and feel free to ask more about the project! Also, feedback is welcome 🙏

Project itself was obviously very good learning experience. After checking few tutorials and some trial and error I managed to achieve something similar I had planned. Also, project allowed me to test few Moho features:

- Layers bind with bones
- Cycle animation
- Clothes are using shape textures
- Leaves are done with particles
- Camera movement (instead of moving the ground)
- Sounds (from Soundly library)
- Image for the background (from Unsplash and then extended it with Affinity Photo)

I tried using the reference layer for the reflection, but had issues with masking so end up using rendered image sequence instead. Editing was done using Davinci Resolve.

I think it looks pretty cool! The water puddles could be a bit darker in color to match the road but still shows the reflections but other than that, very nice!

Nice, but that lack of a neck is a little "disjointed", as it doesn't quite seem to fit with the rest of the styling (to me).

Thanks! I was thinking the puddles would reflect the (lighter) sky, but you are right, they could be darker 👍

Thanks for the feedback 🙇‍♂️ Indeed, having the neck would fit better with the style.
