update RIG in new animation without reference RIG

Hi everyone.
I've been using Moho for two or three years, and the community here has already helped me a lot. I'm working on an animation where I've been using the same character for two years. I've improved the rig over the years, and now I'd like to reuse some older animations (to save time) but by replacing the old rig with the new one. The problem is: I didn't know I needed to import the rig as a reference, and I also added "smart bone dials." Is there a protocol to follow to be able to replace the old rig with the new one while preserving the keyframes of the common bones? thx fot your help. Have a nice day

Hi. You can copy and paste keyframes from one character bone layer to another.
They don't need to share exactly the same bone structure, but the copy and paste will work for the bones that share the same names between both characters.
You can even rename the bones of a different character to match with another and the copy and paste will also work.

"Paste Relative" is another feature that is very useful for this kind of keyframe "recycling". By using that, you can copy and paste keyframes between characters with similar bone structures, but different proportions.
