Activation Limits for Serial Number?

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I wanted to check.

Is there a limit to how many times you can use the Serial Number to activate Moho? I recently switched to a new OS, Linux Mint. However, I was able to install and use the demo of Moho 13 perfectly fine with Lutris and Bottles. When I insert my Serial Number, it gives me this message:

A Fatal Error Occurred Loading the application

Reinstall this application to correct the problem (Error -3513)

The software then just gives me this message every time I've opened it. I've reinstalled it several times and like I said, the demo works fine, but the serial number insert breaks it. Could it be because there is a limit to how many times you can activate the software? I know a lot of you are saying Linux is a cause as well, since it's not native to it, though the demo worked perfectly so maybe it just can't connect to the internet via linux?

Either way, any help would be appreciated.

Technically, you're limited to three activations...however, you can reset the activations from Lost Marble's website. So, no, there is no limit to the number of times you can use the serial numbers, so long as you own the SN and activate it on no more than three devices at once.

This assumes you're using Lost Marble's Moho 13.5 version (or higher.)

If you're using Smith-Micro's Moho 13.0, you'll need to get the final installer from their website. Registered SN is still required.

If you still have trouble, maybe the problem is with corrupted config files that aren't being overwritten when reinstalling Moho. You may need to remove them manually before reinstalling. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure where these files are located (it's different between win and mac,) but a search should turn that info up.

Hope this helps.

Sorry, I don't know anything about running Moho under Linux.
