Ai changed so much while I was away

I was on limit Internet and couldn't figure out my login when I got it back but finally I am logged back in. Yeah!
Uh ai is getting crazy. While not a replacement it can be useful to integrate it into projects. In the next month or so (after I am finished with my move to another state), I plan on updating to a windows computer to be able to use Cartoon Animator 5 lip sync for animal/creatures...but I was kind of hoping CA6 might be available by then...Cartoon Animator 5 is a bit glitchy with animals. But no news of CA 6 so far.
Anyone seeing any groundbreaking/consistent AI for lip sync on 2d special creatures. If nothing else I'll just complete it in moho. All my close-ups are a bit flat with emotion so perhaps my concentration should be on a better head rig for close-ups. But since I'm a little bit of a chaotic move time period it doesn't hurt to do a little research on the subject of AI and other programs.
