How do we who bought Anime Studio 5 Pro at Siggraph over a month ago (presale) receive our product? It's not shipping (box copy) yet and there is no provision on their site for us to download what we've already prepaid for.
And, Customer Service doesn't answer their phone...
I'm really itching to get started...

I am wondering if you had some account which you may have created when you purchased it from Siggraph?
Did they create an account in Content Paradise?
I hope you get it soon.. i want mine too haha..but i can always play with Moho for now but i want to see the content to get more ideas about workflows and wether documentation has changed

hmm..
maybe you can create an account at

Fahim or someone else should respond

however i think e frontier have been a little busy of late, with anime studios release and its conversion from moho and not to menton Poser 5's free download.
Good luck!
Hopefully we will get our software soon enough

I'll do that, though i don't know if it will help.. I can't even download my latest purchase from CP because their servers won't respond...

I mentioned this in a post i made when i found out about the Anime Studio and e-frontier deal. I'm working with Poser atm on a TV commercial and have made numerous enquiries to e-frontier with no response. I don't think this is normal as i have had responses i the past. It looks like they might be getting ready for an overhaul....just my opinion. Who knows. I will say that it takes forever to load any e-frontier pages and that REALLY bothers me. I love the speed of this forum but if it goes over to e-frontier and slows down it will certainly turn quite a few people away i imagine. I hate change

CP seem to be under a lot of strain atm. I would have thought they would have been a little more organised than this.
When Daz have had special promotions and free giveaways it has always been a smooth process.

I've visited the e-frontier site before without noticing speed problems.
Just guessing, but from what I can see the e-frontier/Content Paradise server(s) is(are) being overloaded by a greater than expected demand for the free Poser 5 offer (a large download), so hopefully this is a temporary condition, along with the temporary offer.
DVTVFilm, possibly they'll set you up as part of the same process as the Moho migration. It's probably worth following Patmals' advice so that e-frontier at least has a contact for you, if they haven't already.
Since they are also still getting the Moho/Anime Studio migration ready, and the Moho forum alone has a few thousand members, I suspect they are fairly busy.
Regards, Myles.

HI Fireburst,
The difference between Daz's free Bryce and Poser 5 is that the download was on the download.com server, not on their own.
Not to mention Poser being extremely popular for many reasons - storyboarding and previz, illustration, etc. so poor artists would be creaming for this opportunity

I see there is
a new Anime Studio forum over at Content Paradise, and DVTVFilm got his answer there from Fahim of e-frontier.
Hmm, if this forum eventually moves there[*], I hope they keep separate forum sections like the ones on this forum.
Regards, Myles.

Hi Myles.

Hi D.K,
yes, it was more just a matter of referring back to a closure for the original post in this thread than any reference to the new forum itself - as you said, the new forum is very quiet.
Regards, Myles.

Hi DVTV, you should have access to your purchased copy of Anime Studio Pro now.
As for this forum, if we ever do move it, as Myles mentioned it will be a completely seperate forum, there's just too much valuable info here.
