Holy freakin' COW baby!

We now have... switch layers inside switch layers!

Darn default file loads up... I'm looking at it... in shock... and amazement...

Yeehaaa! This alone was worth all the hassles and discussions lately...

Who knows what else I'm going to find... man oh man.

Thanks Mike... thanks eFrontier! You guys rule!

What do you mean? Switch layers inside switch layers was possible in Moho as well. It's nothing new.

You're right.

my mistake... thought it was that new feature we always wanted... multiple switch layers.

I never saw a project with that done before so I just assumed it was new.

<sigh> I jumped the gun.

have you work with switch layers inside switch layers?
i need to see for what can be used... i know switch inside switch is useful, but i don't know for what.

can you explain me or show me, please, a file with this technique?

thanks.

Selgin,
i know switch inside switch is useful, but i don't know for what.
I've not tried a switch layer inside a switch layer yet, but I can think of one use for them that I want to try. The first switch layer would be for a slight head turn, the switch layer inside that would be for mouth shapes used for lip sync.

Has anyone done this yet?

In this case it was two different eye colors.

The main switch layer at the top controlled two switch layers lower down that were duplicates but had different colors for the eyes.

So the top switch just changed the eye colors.

The "lower" switches controlled... blinking... closed... open... angry... etc.

In the past there was a discussion of having the ability to... say... have a head turn switch and lip synch switches inside... that would be linked to the top switch....

... have to stop... getting dizzy....

I was really embarrassed by my over reaction. I should have looked more closely before posting here.

I've used multiple switches in the exact same way... sort of... I never put them INSIDE another switch... I turn them on and off using the visible attribute in the layer... that's what threw me a bit.

This way is much nicer... so at least I learned something.
