Hello!
I've been searching the forums for help in adding and animating subtitles using Anime Studio but I can't find anything, is there anyone who could help me?

I'd just add them in post using a video editor, myself.

Hi jumbonionga,

there is no built-in sub-title feature in Anime Studio. It's designed mainly to do the animation part, not the whole production process.

As Bones3D said, you can use a video editor, possibly in combination with a sub-titling plug-in, feature, or utility, if one exists that works with your video editor.

You could try a work-around using a switch layer filled with vector layers containing only text, although the text insertion feature in Anime Studio is better for animating text (e.g. have the letter A run over on it's "legs" to stand beside some other letters).

Regards, Myles.

Good point Patmals!

That could probably be modified for use with subtitles, at least in the Pro version.

For web movies there are also technologies like SMIL for subtitles.

Thanks Myles :)

Junbonionga, if you are using Pro, click on the Scripts menu and in "other" you will find "credits". The text needs to be in a text file (which is imported)

As myles says, it could be modified. personally, at the moment i haven't tried it yet.

Or as Bones3D said, a video editor, which i would advise to use to, in your post production.
