I am an english speaker, so I thought I would take you guys up on the Manga studio deal that you offered on your announcementhttp://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5373, but I keep getting refused by the site, telling me that the product is not available in my area. Why is that? I live in japan, but cannot speak Japanese, and I cannot buy the english version? It's a little bit of bad business practice don't you think? I can order other software uch as poser, but not the one I want? Can you suggest why this is so, especially as I would not be able to get an english version here in Japan...

Oops, hopefully that's just an over-strict automated criteria, and your case wan't anticipated when it was set up.

I'd suggest contacting e-frontier sales directly.

Regards, Myles.

Hello,

Were you wanting to download or get a boxed version?

I think the reason you cannot get Manga Studio in Japan and that E-frontier is based in Japan so they would require locals to order software from the Japanese e-frontier. Manga Studio is actually Comic Studio, created by Celsys www.celsys.co.jp . So there is a licence restriction there.

Unfortunately you cannot speak Japanese as i would recommend speaking to E-frontier JP or even Celsys (if you could read Japanese to use Comic Studio)

however..the deal is with e-frontier us.. maybe you can order the download version as no shipping is required.

hmm..

Actually I am aware of that as I have a Japanese version of the product from a few years ago, which I thought I could pick up by guessing buttons, but no luck.

I sent a ticket to content paradise, but I think that is rather bad marketing. I will wait for their reply... I hope they will make an allowance in my case... hopefully... Any guys thanks for your quick reply. Appreciated :D
