Hi there,

I am trying to import a poser character for use in ASPro and I always get these massivly thick lines around the character.
Is there a setting that I can use to not include the outlines?

Thanks

Very nice software BTW, who would have thought a bone system with 2d characters...

I tried to view the avi at eFrontiers site but it seems corrupt.

Upon importing an OBJ to anime studio you get thick lines surrounding your character.
This is normal

Go to Layers Window and click on " ... " button at top (Having your obj layer selected)
a new window will open with "3d Options" as the last tab on the right
click on that
you will see "Edge Offset" usually set to defalt ".05"
Change this to 0

That should fix your lines

if you want better edges, you can give a "hard" shadow in the layer properties.

Hey is it possible to see a screenshot of what it looks like. Just curious to see how AS brings it in.

I've been trying to bring OBJ's in from lightwave with no success (visually)...maybe this may solve my issue too. 8)

I'm not sure, but Lightwave might be one of the number of 3D apps that don't actually export technically proper .OBJs. Some seem to feel free to mess with the format and then everyone else is supposed to go along. I don't have lightwave, but you could feel free to send me one of you'rs and I can see if I can find a fix. Since .OBJs are text files, it's not all that tough to dig around in them and find out what the dumbness is- and fix it by hand.
