PNG Rendered file support opacity problem

Hi there-
It looks like there is a problem with how Anime Studio (5.5) is rendering the alpha channel when a file is saved in the .png format. Here is an example of the problem in .png:
In case that doesn't render correctly in some browsers, here is a screengrab of the same image in Photoshop.
And this is a jpg export from Anime Studio, for reference of what the source looks like:
Please let me know if I can provide anything else on my end to help out. I'm running OS 10.3.9 on a G4 1 Ghz.
