Turn off automatic play / looping?

I noticed that the SWF files I export from moho play automatically, and loop forever, when viewed raw in a browser such as Firefox or IE. Is there a setting in the actual SWF file for that, or is that only a matter of embedding the animation into an HTML file?

What I'd really like is a play/stop button.

I'm using Linux, so Macromedia Flash isn't immediately available to me. But if I were to find an equipped Windows box, would that program even let me *load* SWF files? I've been told it only work with its native .fla format.

In LInux, I had high hopes for the utilities in SWF Tools. It appeard I might be able to combine multiple SWF files together, but in regards to a play/stop button, I have had no luck with `swfcombine`.

Any ideas? I'll welcome even "RTFM"-type responses, if a link to the appropriate docs is included.

Thanks!

If you just drop the SWF file in a browser window, it will loop forever. However, if you embed it in an HTML page, then you can set options for the Flash player like non-looping, background color, etc.

Anime Studio is a character animation program, not an interactive web animation program. If you'd like some interactive functionality, I point you to programs like Adobe Flash Professional (USD 699) or SWiSH Max (USD 99.95). It is possible to use animation created with AS Pro in these products, although there are some limitations.
