This is a Simba´s Draw.

The first render is the Simba´s head without the moustache and without other details in the ears as hair.



This other is a finish render to the sketch.



And this is a finish render with the colors and shadows.

WOW!! Did you use the freehand tool or a different tool to draw this? I can't draw too good in AS. Whenever try to draw spikey hair or sharp edges, AS always smoothes it out..... I notice with your Simba drawing that his hair and the fur on the tip of tail isn't rounded off,how did did you do this?

In the Draw section of the toolbox there is a Smooth and a Peak tool which will enable you to convert selected point(s) to smooth or sharp. You can also use the shortcut P on selected points to make it sharp. There is also a 'Sharp Corners' checkbox with the 'Add Point' tool (in the Draw section again) which will make all the points sharp as you use the tool -useful if you are going to draw an object with lots of edges.

I never use for this sketch the freehand tool.

I use the curves system, and the tool is add point.

You can draw upstairs for some pictures.
