Over The Hedge

While I'm sure most of you are probably already aware of Over the Hedge, and its recent release on DVD, you may not be aware of the extras that came with it in the DVD version.
Among the extras are a brief walkthrough behind the scenes of the movie showing the process that went into its development, going from its early comic roots to the high-tech 3D animated marvel it eventually became.
Another item included in the extras is a detailed segment, hosted by Dave Burgess (one of the supervising animators at Dreamworks), that discusses how to draw the "Hammy" character from the movie. What's surprising about this segment, is just how easy he makes the whole process look. His technique could prove useful in creating character conceptuals for some of the budding animators here.
