Dr Eddie class- Demo version?

Unless I really don't have a clue, (which IS entirely possible), the demo version of AS has no shading or fx abilities at all because both the movie ouput and the render as still are disabled. Will there be any way within the scope of this class to see our work beyond 'workstage' quality?
