Psychedelic animations

Using new tools from Fazek scripting
here, I've created this psychedelic animation. Ideal for a 60's party
Thanks to new curvature tool, poligon/star tool, and new rotate tool, this could be easily done.
Imagine what can be done with particles...

Woah!
Could you explain in a bit more detail how on earth you did that?
It's great.

Great! have you worked with point rotation or how did you do it?

Weeell, I did it after five (or were six?) cups of wisky...
Really is not so difficult to do.
1) Create a star with new tools from Fazek. Corners 20, star factor 3 (*)
2) Animate color thru time.
3) ROTATE and SCALE INNER points of the star. (I could not imagine if I do same with outer points

)
4) INCREASE and DECREASE (a lot) the curvature for all points using wonderful curvature tool from Fazek.
That all folks!
Please see second example from yourtube.com. Google videos seems to continue being a "non working Beta" (= Alpha).

this example have only rotation (no color, no scale points, no change curvature). I added some gradient and halo to the shape (ONLY one shape!!!)
It has a lot of posibilities! Don't you think so?
(*) Has anyone the mathematical equation to understand how "star factor" (SF) works??? Could it be: Inner radious= Outer radious*(1-1/(1-SF)) ?? It have a very strange behaviour because lower and upper limits for SF from script is different depending on Corners value.... ¿¿¿ Any idea???

I agree, very beautiful, that second one. And the way you did it, sooo simple, yet very effective.

Very cool man!
I tried the star thing and it worked like a charm! Wow! Some REALLY crazy shapes!
Awesome!

Thank you all for your words!
Sometimes simples ideas make a lot of fun and beauty pictures.
The picture in first post remember me spirograph stuff. It was played by me when I was child. It consist in 2 or three teeth holes where you can put a gear (tehre were 5 or six gears to choose ) with smal holes at differnt positions in its surface. Then you put a pencil (colored better) in the small hole and turn the gear inside the teeth hole.It produces a looong curved flower-like line that after severral turns conects to the begining. I loved that kind of entertaiment!. Now it is very difficult to obtain the kit for playing.
