I tried with some programs to paint over the exported PGN files - but in some programs they lose the transparency of the background in other programs after reimporting the pgn files they have a white shape....painting over with ArtRage is possible - but can somebody tell me a program to use , where selections are possible o how can I make the background transparent without the noise arround?I hope you understand my bad english - i am in Austria..

Photoshop should do this.

Mirage can do this as well, though maybe PNG isn't good as an export format then. It can as well work with a Quiktime file (with alpha channel for transparency).

Gimp should do it also, and it is free and opensource!

Mirage cost too much - Gimp is a very good idea - i think it works
