total noob needs a simple question

in the first tutorial it says choose File-render. Under file I have no option called render...what am I missing?

And also it would be helpful if you could mention what "flavor" of
Anime Studio you have (basic Anime Studio or Anime Studio Pro) and what Operating System you're running.
The HTML help files need a bit of editing. Single frame rendering is avialible only on AS Pro, not the basic version of AS. Under the file menu there should be a command to render animation. That should be what you're looking for.
