Hi, i've recently started using moho 5 and sometimes when im working on it at random huge chunks of what i did will disapear, the selections are still there, but they arent filled anymore with the colors/shapes like they should be, and when i go to REfill them it asks me if i just want to alter the original (like it would if the shape was still there) and if i click yes, then nothing happens, but if i click no then it adds a shape overtop thats exactly the same that ISNT invisible...This also someteimes happens when i finish a project save it , and then close it, only to open it at a later date to find a torso or head or more missing from a character file...

Did i maybe press something on the keyboard that accidentally made these disapear?

Is there a painless way to get them back easilly and quickly?

Or would i have to just keep adding new shapes over the old invisible ones. I did a search and didnt see anything on this but i only went through a handful of pages of the search since time is kind of an issue since im on a deadline. If anyone could help me i would GREATLY appreciate it.

When you create a shape outside frame zero, the keys are created in the frame you're in at that moment. When you return to frame zero, the colors have become transparent. Simply go to frame zero, hit the return key (to deselect all points), select in the earlier frame the keys for:

• Point Motion
• Curvature
• Fill Color
• Line Color
• Line Width

press one after another in the timeline

1. copy button
2. paste button
3. delete button

If it is asking you about putting in a new shape on top of an old one, then the shape that you originally created is still there.

Each time you create a new shape it is created on top of all the other shapes. It could be the default fill is "covering" the shape, not deleting it (the default fill for a new shape is whatever is set up in the style palette, usually a white fill with a black stroke).

You can change the order of shapes but if they are covered completely by other shapes it can be difficult to select them. If you select a shape on top you can move it down, by using the arrow keys on the tool palette or the draw menu commands.

I would suggest that you use the checkbox in the prefs to automatically name bones and shapes. This way you can select the shapes in the style palette easily to move them around in the order.

As far as having multiple fills on one vector shape... yikes... I have stuff with up to 3 or 4 different shapes all assigned to one vector shape. It is quite powerful but you really need to name them in order to keep track.

thanks rasheed, i always have the timeline off when im tracing an image and making it a vector, but thanks to what you said i decided to look through the timeline to see if SOMEHOW my shapes ended up in a different frame, and some of them did, i dont know how, but at least i know they are still there, now its only a matter of time of copying and pasting them back into 0 i think, assuming i read what you typed correctly!
