Over there at Cartoon Modern (http://cartoonmodern.blogsome.com/2006/ ... z-herndon/) is a nice example of stylized animation. Have a look at the screengrabs of that face which only consists of separate simple shapes. (Ignore the stereotype. It's an old film.) I'd like to see more animation in this fashion. The closest I know is some commercials by Oscar Grillo (http://grillomation.blogspot.com/) of whom I own a demo reel from the early 90's.

That's some nice animation. I wished they would make more of this for today's commercials, because I only see the Red Bull animated commercials nowadays, and that super cheap 3D stuff, of course :?
