You just select a bone and hit "delete". The bone vanishes - and every other bone which is a child of it, so be careful.

if you don't want to delete the child bones, but you still wanting to delete the parent bone, just change the hierarchy.
make the child bones orphans.

You do this by alt clicking on each child bone you want to orphan with the Reparent Bone tool, and then clicking outside any bone.

Ah, never mind. If I understood what you meant, I'm sure others did too.

Hi all,
Thanks for your help. However the bones of the imported Anime Characters (e.g. Aya) cannot be deleted by "selected and press Delete button". I noticed that the bones are not locked.
Best regards

Strange, because I can with Anime Studio Pro, using the Select Bone tool and pressing the Delete key (or using the Clear option in the Edit menu).

Make sure you have the bone layer selected and not a vector layer inside the bone layer.
You can use the bone tool while on vector layers for assigning points or layer binding etc. But you can't delete a bone while on a vector layer or any other layer but the bone layer.

Hi,
It works now. I selected the vector layer inside the bone layer therefore the bones could not be deleted.
I begin to get fun with Anime Studio now.
Thanks and best regards

Oh, guess who didn't have the bone layer selected!

Thanks for this heyvern. You saved me much head scratching.
