Head turns

Hi: Just got the lite version of AS but will upgrade to Pro soon. I'm very interested in the discussions about combining Poser with AS. The bones, constraints and dynamics already make it easier to work with than Poser and you don't have to worry about clothes slipping off halfway through the animation!
My question is has anyone figured out how to do full head turns in AS? Is it a matter of using the switch layers somehow combined with Actions? I'll be working mostly in raster graphics, not vector. Thanks!

The best way seems to be to stage it so, that you don't need to do a full head turn, but can get away with a fast (thus incomplete) head turn. Just as effective and much more productive. And if you need to do a head turn in full animation, search for head turn in this forum, and you'll find plenty of examples.

Since you said you plan to do your head turns with raster and not vector, it's almost guaranteed the answer is in switch layers.

Still, doing a head turn using rasters in a switch layer still means that the interpolation won't work.

No it won't, but he didn't say he wanted to use interpolation. If he's using raster, he'll have to draw every frame of the rotation, but regardless of this, the only way to use an image sequence like this is in switch layers, isn't it?

True. Man, that'll be a pain in the ass. Wouldn't mind seeing the end results though just to prove it's possible.

To prove it's possible?
That's the way animation was done B.C. (before computers)
