i was looking in the links that bupaje let in *resources* topic and i found CB model pro.
it's a tool similar to zbrush, but much easier and free. you just must download it and register.

please download it. i was playing no more than 10 minutes and made this pig... ok, is not a great pig (even it hasn't nose holes), but was so easy and fast make it!

What a marvelous modeling, paint and texture tool, fast and intuitive.
It creates the texture, mtl and obj files, I can beautifully import into Cinema 4D.
Haven’t figured out yet why AS doesn’t accept the texture files.
Did you had any luck ?
Thank you very much
Cheers

no, the textures aren't shown in AS, i don't know why. i have tried importing to wings and re exporting to obj, but nothing changed.
i'm glad you be as happy as me. this software is great.

import CB Model Pro obj files into Anime Studio

I just found CB Model Pro last night (pro/public version of Cosmic Blobs for kids)...
http://www.cbmodelpro.com/ - free beta download, you can watch the videos on
http://www.cosmicblobs.com/help/index.html for tutorials though the UI layout is different.
Here's how I got it to import into Anime Studio...
1. Create model in CB Model Pro (I only used one image for texture).
2. Export to obj which included one of each: obj, mtl and bmp files.
3. Imported the obj into wingz3d.
4. Exported to obj (different name): another obj, mtl, but same bmp.
5. Edit bmp and save to jpg.
6. Edit the mtl file exported form wingz3d to point to the jpg instead of bmp (example: map_Kd file11.jpg).
7. Import obj file into Anime Studio.
For each step, the 3 files need to be in one directory so if you export to a different dir from wingz3d, make sure the bmp file is there before continuing.
If there's an easier way to do this, please let me know.

thanks

Couldn't you edit the original mtl file to point to a jpg copy of the map?
