It's a commandline option for rendering. It displays error messages and estimated time to render.

i agree.
(a visual thing which confirm the save when you push control+s would be useful too. but this is another request)

I figured out another way to get the information in verbose mode for windows. But there are pauses when the information updates. I not sure if it's because the rendering process is taking up all the cpu or what. If Mike or Fahim reads this, the link below has the update so you can see.

Ok, I think I see what's happening. When you render in AnimeStudio, it renders a frame and updates the progress bar, renders a frame and updates the progress bar, and so on.
When you do it by the commandline, it renders and exports the info at the same time. Therefore leaving no room for the info to be retrieved instantly. Since it's running the cpu at 100 constantly. It would be nice if it rendered a frame then spit out the info, alternately. Because if you have alot of particles or blur, you can forget about it giving any info until it's done rendering.
