I'm using Mac OSX.

I just saved a file with Papagayo. It has no extension. I then tried to open the file, but it remains greyed out.

I quit Papa. I dragged the file onto Papa's icon in the Dock. That opens Papa with a blank file.

Is there a way to get this file opened, or is my work lost?

I'm hoping there's some file extension that Papa didn't add to the file. I checked the Papagayo site, but found nothing relevant....

I seem to have found my answer. Here it is in case the question comes up again:

Papagayo for OSX does NOT save files with the proper extension, .pgo ....

Find the file, and add* the .pgo extension to the end of its name.

Open Papagayo.

Use Papagayo's File menu to open the file, or click on the little "open folder" icon.

That will open the file. It's the only way I have found to make it work.

Dragging the file to Papagayo's icon will not open the file properly.
Double-clicking the file will not open it properly.
Right-clicking the file and choosing "Open with ...", then choosing Papagayo, will not open the file properly.

*I prefer to make a COPY of the file, then add .pgo to the copy, in case something goes wrong. I'd hate to lose my work, wouldn't you?
