These cartoons are so funny. I wonder if they use AS to make them?

I got a 404. No longer available.

That was because of an ill-formed url. Here is the correct url:

I watched two of them. Seems to be typical Flash animation, done really poor. The humor IMHO is also typical Conan O'Brien, so not funny.

No way man! Gaffigan rocks! lol

But yes I agree- very crappy animation... but then again so is South Park.

Maybe it's an acquired taste. I didn't like them...

I don't like Conan... he's not funny what-so-ever. And those animations just put me to sleep. I spent most of my time, fishing for something in the humour, but found none. Conan needs to up the funny - but i do like his music exposure stuff. They had Explosions in the sky on it... he gets a fat well done for that!

Well, Conan doesn't really have any input on these cartoons- Jim Gaffigan makes them and does all the voices- if you don't know who he is you should really try to catch his special on Comedy Central. I guess you guys don't really like hornymanatee.com either lol? Eh, to each his own I guess.

Do you guys like Leno better?

I don't like either really... i've never grown attached to them or their humour. Just found it... bog standard, christmas cracker material.

What can I say? Old media. Perhaps funny in the 80s, but not in the 10s of the new millennium. Now the monopoly of television is being broken by fresh content on the Internet by talented individuals, old media with it's canned humor seems to have become staler and staler.

I rather like the Daily Show with Jon Stewart... If The Onion did a talk show, I'd probably enjoy that too.

Conan is an odd fish.

I find the humor on his show to be... sort of childish. Not childish like fart humor but sort of like an innocent "try anything to get a laugh" childish. Or, "let's see if this is funny and if it isn't we try something else".

A lot of times he misses... sometimes he nails it.

For instance Pale Force. It is just totally completely absurd and absolutely ridiculous. It is embarrassing... nipples shooting lasers... makes me cringe. But you got to give him some credit. He did put it on the show no matter how ridiculous it was.

Every once in a blue moon he does something that strikes me as very funny and original. At least they aren't trying too hard. It's still "fun" if not completely funny. It's almost like he knows it's stupid and not funny but it was worth a shot anyway... so that kind of makes it funny... you laugh at the ATTEMPT rather than the results.

They did something on that show with a guy dressed as a bear? Can't quite remember the bit but it was just "weird" and not overtly "funny" which made it funny. He comes across as less serious.

This is just my spin on it.

For me, ridiculous isn't the right word, bland, is more accurate for me.

Anyhow, shows like those mentioned, only have one aim, to keep your attention in order to watch the ads. I don't like if tv does that to me. Hurray for TiVo and the fast forward buton (which has been attempted to be banned by the big media) ;)

Should I mention that I hardly watch tv nowadays, because I don't like the taste of the network coordinators which we have for PBS in the Netherlands, and commercial tv even less, because those only seem to want to broadcast reality shows?
