hello...i was wondering how to save an image file in paint shop pro 8, and crop down the backround to fit the image, so that there will actually be NO white in the backround, just the image itself. any suggestions are welcome...i've been tryin to achieve this for quite some time now, so please help!

p.s., i also have other imaging programs, such as photoshop SE 3.0, Artweaver 0.4.5, and Dogwaffle 1.2.....

You need to save an image in 32-bit format. In Photoshop, this would be 24-bit PNG "save for web" with the transparency box checked.

Well, that would be definitely a question for the PaintShop manual. Or a PaintShop forum.

Search for "transparent background", "alpha channel", "24+ bit", "32bit".

I don't think Photoshop SE has the ability to save an alpha channel (32 bit rgb).

I don't know how to use PSP 8
