another rotation point question

Is there a way to move the center point for just a few selected points?
I understand that GreyKid doesn't use bones as much as point animation which made me wonder. Could I set a custom point of rotation for a few selected points?
IOW - could I move the crosshairs for the cuff up around the elbow area?
For a few out there...I know..."There he goes again with his &*@! custom rotation point again!!"
sorry.

With Fazek's modification of the rotation tool, you can.

Does that allow one to move the point of rotation such as you can in flash?
Where is this tool found and how is it used?

Yes. With it, you can select any arbitrary points, and move the crosshairs to anywhere you want, and the points will rotate around those crosshairs.
That tool, and many others, are located here.

I highly recommend them. I never use the original versions of the tools anymore, and I've removed them from my tools palette.

WOW! That's fantastic. Point moition will never be the same again.
Separating all the arms, legs , feet, hands and all into groups will be just like using bones.

Well almost
Thank you, thank you, Shawn.
By the way, I love your Drowtales anniversary animation. And your NEW avatar.

You're welcome, and also pay attention to the modified magnet tool that's also in that collection. That magnet is designed to work only on selected points, and also has a mirrored axis mode.
Thank you also for the compliments.
